Drawing, painting, and jewelry were very early passions for me as a child. I can't remember ever not being an artist. At a very early age, my mother noticed that I used the shapes of the kitchen tiles to be "corrals" for my beloved horse collection. She knew this was a special visual ability.

I always knew I'd grow up to be an artist. When college came around, the question became: what speciality? I was torn between painting and jewelry design.
