I want to introduce myself to you. My name is Ruth and sewing has been a big part of my life. When I was 11 my grandmother took my sister and I to the store to pick out material so she could teach us how to make a sundress using a newspaper as the pattern. From that day forward I was hooked. I have been sewing ever since.

When I had my children I made a lot of their clothes when they were young. As they got older, of course, homemade clothes just didn't cut it. More time sewing for me. My kids always said I should use my sewing skills for a business, so here I am.

I hope that you find what you are looking for at my shop, "Stitch from the Heart". I take alot of pride in my work.
