When I was in my early-mid 20s, I attended my first flea market in Sandwich, Illinois and I have been hooked ever since. That day I lugged home a huge plant stand, $20 framed lithograph and some pressed glass bottles. Although my tastes have developed over the last 15 (or so) years, those items are still in my home because they are a sweet reminder of the beginning of my vintage love affair.
It gives me pleasure to find little treasures that have a special meaning for others. I try to keep my prices reasonable so that I can still make a profit and the buyer feels that they paid a fair price.
Everything that I put in my store is something that I would use myself. Any flaws are disclosed and I am meticulous about making sure items are not smoky or musty. Many a lovely item I have turned away because of smoke smell or stains…
