I've always considered myself a creative type. I was lucky enough to have been born into an artistic family and I've enjoyed arts & crafts since I was a small child. In high school, I had an amazing art teacher who taught me how to work with many new mediums. She also taught me to be confident in my abilities and display my work with pride.

When my daughter was born I had to put away my art supplies. As a single mom, it was too hard to find the time or justify the cost. In 2008, someone suggested selling earrings to make extra money. Rather than buying pre-made wholesale earrings (which was the original suggestion), I decided to try making my own.

I bought a set of tools and a how-to book and a handful of beads, charms and earwires and practiced, practiced, practiced! It took me a couple months to build up enough inventory to sell but once I started I never looked back.

I started out making simple beaded charm earrings (which is still a staple of my inventory) but I've gradually added a variety of different earring styles as well as bracelets, necklaces and the occasional set of wine charms.

I am always looking for new techniques to learn and I'm always, ALWAYS looking for ways to improve and build on what I already know.
