Juliet Ames is a crafter born, bred, and educated in Baltimore, MD. After received her B.A. in Inter-Disciplinary Craft from Towson University, she began turning broken plate shards into unique pieces of jewelry, and shortly after, created the Broken Plate Pendant Company. Since the company’s formation in 2006, Ames’ work has been showcased by both print and internet media, including Baltimore Magazine, Urbanite, Style, Readymade, Greencraft, Real Simple and More. Her pieces have been worn on television by food personality, Rachael Ray (on the popular show, 30 Minute Meals) and local news anchors.
