ABOUT ME

I live in a land between 35 foot tall french fries where tourists trod, rocket pads and oak lined streets with the architecture of Gamble Rodgers; a comfortable place between past and present. I am a now grounded gypsy, the daughter of a dashing Air Force pilot, with a terminal case of wanderlust.

I marvel equally at hand hewn beams of old barns and the sculpture of Rodin. Mesmerized by light streaming through the soft green leaves of an apple tree; the wild palm groves where the egret rookeries hide; the oak hammocks where the Seminoles lived and the hawks raise their young; the soft waves of the gulf where the sea oats sway, the colors of Matisse and Renoir.

I love warrior poets and gardeners; honor and integrity, apple butter and wild blackberry jam; the feel of cool stone, lightening glass, and a perfume dauber on my neck.

I would happily get lost in Pécs, Hungary, Boston or San Francisco. I am old enough: to know the importance of being authentic and loving well; to have a poker face and laugh hard. I am always ready for a road trip, a trail ride, sailing, a long walk, an intimate conversation, a good yarn, Texas BBQ and mexican food.

My vintage offerings and interests are influenced by my travels and life adventures. My love of Native American and Taxco jewelry and it's history is a direct result of a trip I took out West and to Mexico back in the 1960's with my parents. I hope you find something in my shop that inspires you to include it in your home, life and family traditions. I welcome communications of every sort; please feel free to contact me here on Etsy or via my e-mail theinspiredtrader [!at] gmail.com.
