i am 28 years old.

we have three cats and a dog.

I was born and raised in the once small, historic city of Fredericksburg, Va. I live with my husband, Stephen, and soon, our little boy, Fisher Gray, on a 9 acre farm we've just recently purchased. I spend most of my time thinking of being outside, art, and working on my house and garden... Nature is, and has always been my true love...and so it influences much that i do.
I have just recently (spring of '11) taken the leap, and quit my job at the local plant nursery where I've worked the last 5 years. I am unbelievably happy to finally be working from home and making things with my hands all day long!

All in all I'm a dreamer, i think that sums it up...

All mosses used in my terrariums have been either hand propagated from spores(by me), or have been rescued from Demo sites around the Fredericksburg area... I care deeply about our environment and do all i can to preserve it.

*i do create my art in my home studio which is also home to our pets; Icarus (Pembroke welsh corgi), Ash, Seven, and Ellie (cats)... though i try to keep them away from things, that often proves to be a difficult task.
So, if you are allergic, please be aware.
