So here's my story:

My puppy, Rowe, ate THREE of my limited supply of very old potholders. As I shopped for new replacements, I discovered that they were all UGLY and dated (can you say, stuck in the 70's?)

At the same time I was pondering/praying about ways to make some extra money to help me minister to the teenage girls that I work with at a group home in downtown Montgomery, AL. They love to go out to eat (a rare treat for them) and shop for new clothes!

WA-LA! The Potholder Store was born. Please know that a large percentage of the profits will be going to take these beautiful girls out to lunch and shopping!

OH, I also have a pretty fantastic husband and three handsome 20-something sons. And a dog named Rowe...
