About

Hi and welcome to my shop here on Etsy.

My name is Miss Louise and I am the master soapmaker for The Soap Gallery. I am assisted by my daughters who make the bubble baths as well as take part in the soapmaking process. We're the team responsible for all these wonderful products here at the Etsy Gallery.

We're Canadian, eh?! living in the pacific northwest for 3 years. We travel around a lot. Love travelling! I started soapmaking over 10 years ago because, like many of you, my skin was super dry (and cracking), the creams never worked and I was searching everywhere for a simple solution. This led me into my soapmaking career. Along with my understanding of Chemistry (thank you U of Saskatchewan!)I got to understand the process completely and have a in depth knowledge of how each ingredient affects the outcome...

As a master soapmaker my particular love is for the deep sensual scents using herbs as much as possible in the process. We make soap using different methods, depending on the creative effect we're looking for. Hot and cold processed soap, leaving the glycerin in the soap, make for such a luxury. I love being able to understand in plain English what each ingredient is, don't you? Palm, Coconut, Shea butter, Olive oil, Glycerin, Water - this list is simple and delicious.

The other items we make, bubble bars, liquid soap, bath teas, the list goes on and on and changes frequently. Please keep stopping by to check what's curing.

You can also see us on Facebook, Twitter, and on our own blog at http://www.soap-gallery.com.

Thank you for your patronage,

Miss Louise
