Willkommen!

My name is Karina! I was named after a German chocolate bar my Mother used to eat as a wee one in Germany. Knowing that you should now know that all "The Well and Spindle" creations are made by a woman who is both sweet and bold, light and dark (or a mixture/balance of both!)and who works well in all sorts of forms and with all sorts of added flavors. The product is always delicious and well loved by many! Even if you don't like chocolate I'm sure you will still like my creations!

A little about me: I have always been interested in nature and the natural world, books, folk tales and the like. Spiritually speaking I have been studying and practicing a bit of HooDoo and creating my own blend of Juju as well recently. However, I always seem to fall back on my deep connection with my predominately German ancestry and you can see its reflection and influence on my spirituality and creations.

I make all my items with attention to detail and use all natural, organic or wild crafted herbs and oils not only to keep close to nature but for those like myself who are hypersensitive to chemicals and harsh substances.

Most of my items I have been making years before I started my etsy shop. Many of them I have been giving as gifts to friends and family when I realized that hand crafted gifts made by my own two hands were far better than most anything I could find in a store. Also, fortunately for me I was blessed with a very creative and witchy Mother who taught me many of the crafts I make now. She is always inspiring me and helping me to come up with new ideas for my shop. Danke Mutti! Ich liebe dich!
