Victoria Wilson's Profile

About

I have been making various styles of corsets since 2009, when I learned the art of corsetmaking from Canada's lingerie expert and "queen of fit" Beverly Johnson.

I sold my first corset in early 2010, and officially started Victoria Wilson Corsets in January 2011. Since then I have been constantly researching and trying new methods materials and styles to try to bring you the best corsets possible at a reasonable price.

I now work with supertalented stitch witch Natalie in our Bloor Street West studio.

We use the best materials available, including imported cotton coutil linings, garment and upholstery quality outer fabrics, and all steel spiral and flat boning.

We use our own hand drafted patterns for most styles, as well as artisan licensed vintage reproduction patterns from France for specialty styles such as riding corsets and some of our Edwardian models.

We use a variety of construction methods, based on the style and purpose of corset we are making. We love to create and try new styles and are open to custom orders -website- victoria [!at] victoriawilsoncorsets.com
