Hello my name is Valerie.
Making jewellery has been my hobby ever since I was a little girl. At 7 years of age I made my first soldered copper band in Metal Art School back home in Latvia. Ever since then, my love and passion for making jewellery began.

After sometime the school terminated the Metal Arts course, so whatever I learned I continued making and re-making. I remember sitting for hours at a time with my dad’s pliers, one long galvanized nail and copper wire and making chains, bracelets anklets and necklaces.

In 2007 I completed 3 years of Jewellery Arts Program with Honours at George Brown City College.
Today I work from home in my tiny studio where I let my imagination go wild.

The most fascinating part about making jewellery to me is, being able to create something special and beautiful just for you!
