I am grateful that my mother shared with me her love of useful well crafted antiques and respect for the stories and heritage connected with old things. As a wife and mother (with a penchant for organization and simplicity) I do lean toward the practical and it thrills me to see something old revived to serve a new purpose.

When it is pleasing to the eye and fulfills a handy function - that makes me smile. Eye - Hand coordination at it's beautiful best.
