Hello to you from the picturesque Napa Valley of California! I am fortunate to live a place that constantly inspires me. When you are in Napa Valley you can’t help but admire the beauty of rolling hills covered with rows of grapevines. When you take a breath of fresh county air and a sip of delicious Napa wine - you feel that life is good. That’s the feeling I want to share with you through my creations.

I do believe that life is good. I am fortunate to have a day job that I love. I teach people with visual impairments to get around independently and stay oriented with limited or no vision. It’s a very narrow specialization within the vision rehabilitation field. My field is so small that there are only 15 university programs in the US (and only 1 in Canada) training specialists like me. I feel privileged to be able to provide a service that changes people’s lives and makes them more independent. I would not change those occasional smiles of achievement for any other job.

Being able to establish a personal connection with my clients is what inspires me in my day job. That same feeling of sharing my humanity in the era of mass produced utilitarian stuff is what drives me in creating art. Handmade cards, one of a kind gifts, handwritten notes… – I am on a mission to bring more individual attention and personal warmth in place of impersonal and soulless tendencies of the 21st century.
