I am a contemporary rug hooking artist. I specialize in custom, one-of-a-kind HOOKED FOOTSTOOLS and PURSES. I like to make my designs fun and interesting. My footstools range in size and shape. They are all custom designed and hand upholstered. Some stools have small storage compartments. Some have fancy trims upholstered along their bottom edges.

My purse designs range from elegant to understated to whimsical. Their linings are made from many types of durable fabrics including elegant brocades and sequined moleskins. I use a wide variety of mixed medium in my designs--from woolen fabrics to specialty yarns, beads, embellishments and glitz. I like to use several fiber techniques (traditional hooking, waldoboro, prody, pixelating, shirring, crocheting and knitting).
95% of the woolen fabric that I use is repurposed.
