By the light of the moon, young boy's father instilled the thrill of hunting for buried treasure, by bringing him along with him to hold the lantern as he searched for treasure with his shovel around the village where they lived. The days of digging for buried treasure have long passed but the tradition lives on in the shop 'The Lantern and The Shovel'. That same little boy is now grown up and seeks his treasure in area estate sales where treasures with an unusual and often ethnic flair are sought. Offered here, in this humble shop, are the fruits of the seed planted long ago.
