When I told my family that I would major in art history in college, my father not-so-politely asked, "What in the hell can you do with that?" Well, I found that I can channel inspiration from the past into my own projects.

Hi, my name is Marie, and I create artistic, creative, and sometimes weird pieces from polymer clay. I'm inspired by art history, vintage finds, nature, and occasionally the offbeat. I am a communicator at heart. Sometimes I choose words as the method, other times art. It can feel like I lead a double life. By day, I am the mild mannered marketing director at a small private university. By night, I am Young Creative, artist and small business owner.

On the home front, I'm married to a handsome guy that I started dating when I was 16. We've been together for more than 25 years now. My projects are done in a smoke-free, cat-filled home in rural central Pennsylvania.
