About

I started crocheting when I was about 8 years old by sitting across from my mom and mirroring her; she's right-handed and I'm left-handed. I picked it up fairly quickly and have stuck with it over the years. My mom and I have been doing various crafts for as long as I can remember.

I joined the Calico Quilters Guild in 2004 and became the Guild's historian a year later. Quilts have always been a part of my life and hold a lot of fond memories for me. My Great-Great-Aunt taught me that there is no such thing as a perfect quilt and I remember that whenever I take on a new project, whatever it may be. It's those imperfections that makes anything unique and memorable.
