I majored in sculpture(in KOREA) and stage design(in JAPAN) and have been working on set design for a broadcasting station.
I have also lectured on space planning design and exhibition design in colleges for 10 years.
My area of work now, however, is quite different from what I have been studying.

Felt is a work with endless possibilities, Nuno felt is particularly so.
It is a work that motivates imagination and creative thinking by just mixing and harmonizing many kinds of material.
Although 'Nuno felt technique' combines various fabrics and woolen clothes(In fact, I enjoy combining gauze and knitted clothes),

As for nuno techniques, I always contemplate how to make it as light and soft as silk, and at the same time how to keep it warm just as wool and express artistic features of 'felt.'
Besides, some might regard it as minor, but I try to care for environment by collecting recycled silk(100% pure silk) for creative activity.

Creativity and environment-friendliness are the key words for akinamina.
