I started knitting when my daughter Jirina was one and Amaran was three. Levin arrived four years later. At first my knitting was limited to vests knitted with bulky yarns and large pictorial designs. When I moved to smaller weight yarns and smaller needles I was able to paint more detailed pictures on the sweaters. The fictional characters my children loved were a huge inspiration for many of my sweaters. Later I added Norwegian style patterns and expanded the possibilities of color, pattern, and shape. My current knitting is a mix of picture sweaters and more traditional style pattern sweaters.
For pictures of more sweaters please look at my website: amarinalevinhandknits.com. In the future I will also be issuing patterns, so if you are interested, feel free to contact me.
Thanks for looking!
