I studied graphic arts but never really had a true passion for it as a professional. My first love was always architecture but never really considered it because of the strict technical skills required. I find a very comfortable medium in designing and building stand-alone and built-in furniture from reclaimed building materials. It combines my love for arcituecture through understanding the buildings where the materials come from, design problems, then adding to a building through furniture.
I hope one day to be a part of an economy that does not send good building resources to our landfills but instead stays within a creative community of home-builders and craftspeople.
