After working in Mental Health for 30 years assisting those who need a Hand UP Not a Hand Out ..The Homeless, Addicted, Vets, Pregnant and Parenting teens were part of the community I was honored to work with.Those that needed Social Services so that they could lead a successul productive life. My last six years I worked as a job coach at an MR/DD facility. I have lead a wonderful stressful life.

When my identical twin died I retreated into a dark abyss. I was in such deep pain at 58 I closed the curtains and just threw my own pity party..

That all changed in 2009. Jude had come to me in my dream and said, " Enough Get out of bed and do something with your life.. " The next morning I emerged as an artist, even though I had never held an art brush in my hands before. I knew techniques that it took artist's years to achieve. I was 62.

It was a true miracle. I awakened with so my joy and light and color. Vibrant colors that I recreate in my paintings.

I ran away with my husband to the most fabulous isolated island in the world. Pine Island Florida. Where I am living my dream. I am painting in serenity and peace.

I give into pity parties once in a great while. I have Jude days, but I do it with a Paint Brush in my hand instead of a wet pillow under my head from my tears. My art is a Love Story to my twin Jude.

I have also embraced the vibrant colors that are found on Pine Island in Florida..

My 2 little fur baby doggies also share this slice of paradise with us.

My technique is such that I paint in layers and layers gathering and blending beautiful shades with each stroke.
