I studied visual arts, I grow biodynamic produce and enjoy to be outdoors every day. I have a deep connection to nature and a love for the rich green forest and the wild ocean of the West Coast. I channel my impressions of this environment into my burned-in illustrations in leather.

Dear Visitor & Nature Lover!

I studied visual arts, I grow biodynamic produce and enjoy to be outdoors every day. I have a deep connection to nature and a love for the rich green forest and the wild ocean of the West Coast. I channel my impressions of this environment into my burned-in illustrations in leather.

Every step of my work is an intense process. I begin with premium vegetable-tanned cowhide. After cutting and shaping I begin burning my designs freehand into the leather. This technique, known as Pyrography, utilizes a stylus with a heated tip, and allows for great clarity and detail.

When my illustrations are complete, the dyeing process begins. Using only eco-friendly and waterbased products, I treat my leatherpieces individually to many layers of dye, oil, and wax, to produce a finish of warmth, depth, and durability as well. No two pieces are alike.

My art work will remind you that nature is the basis of our lives. You will find in my collection all manner of organic forms such as plant life, marine organisms, insects, and skeletal structures to name a few.

Once in a while I find a vintage leather piece. If the leather has a good quality I may work it into a new functional and unique piece. Those pieces in my shop are declared with "vintage leather".

I am as well keen to make experiences including survival techniques like growing organic food, wood carving, keeping lifestock, staying in shape and flexible with outdoor activities. Nature is the base of my mind & body and I wish that this feeling will grow back in our society. A dream would become true.

I am inspired by nature and you can be as well!
