A Second Time’s handmade designs are carefully assembled with great attention given to making the piece wearable for many years of enjoyment. Watch parts for Steampunk designs are professionally cleaned, but not to the point of removing all of the beautiful patina that only time can produce.

A Second Time strives to be Eco-friendly, committing to ONLY using watch parts that can no longer serve their original purpose for Steampunk designs, using reclaimed sterling silver where possible and using recycled paper and packaging when possible. Our great respect for the craftsmanship of vintage watches ensures that we will repair and restore those that can still be enjoyed as timepieces, saving them from the garbage and giving new life to these old, oftentimes forgotten pieces.

The creative force behind A Second Time has an extensive background in the jewellery trade having been exposed to it since childhood. Decades of training and experience go into each creation from A Second Time. A severe injury several years ago forced a redirection in career and life choices. Etsy allows the opportunity for a creative outlet while still allowing the time for recovery and rejuvenation of body, mind and spirit.
