Asia resides in sunny, southern California but she left her heart in San Francisco. Asia was born and raised in Oakland, and remains a true bay area native at heart. Asia left for Los Angeles at the age of twenty and earned a Bachelors degree at Otis College of Art and Design. Asia works as a full-time artist and teaches Illustration part-time at Vision 21 Art and Design Portfolio School. Since graduating in 2007, Asia has worked with such clients as Disney, Warner Brothers, Harley Davidson, Off Road Evolution, and McDonalds. Asia has been trained to produce commercial work, such as create apparel designs and Photoshop renderings, but her specialty is acrylic painting. Asia works full time as a painter, she has shown in several gallery shows including a national traveling show with LeBasse Gallery and has had a solo show at Cartoon Network in Burbank, California. Asia's fine art has been featured in Blue Canvas Magazine and in an ad in Giant Robot. Asia has done custom work, not only paintings, but illustration on cars, purses, and furniture. The locals in downtown Los Angeles can view Asia's work at dessert restaurant, Syrup Desserts (611 South Spring St, downtown Los Angeles, Ca.) When Asia is not working on client work or odd painting projects, she is teaches art instruction to high school students or tutors in children's art.

Asia is active in art everyday. Other hobbies includes Yelping, bad dancing, watching online tv, exercising, cooking food and eating food while watching food on Food Network or Cooking channel. Asia aspires to be a cookie master - at her last show, she baked four batches of cookies from scratch. When one asks what Chinese horoscope animal she is, she replies, "bacon," which also concludes you are what you eat.
