Jacqueline Harris' Profile
With the passing of time, the meaning of sewing has changed for me. Where once I sped along, trying to finish everything quickly, I now take joy in creating a space where the cloth and I can have a give and take. Sewing has become a meditative activity for me that keeps me centered in the face of any challenge.
My aim is to honor, through my work, the memory of my mother Anniebelle, and my grandmother Hattie, two of the truest and most humble artists ever.
