'Betty & Mabel' has long been in the making. My grandmother often told me of her mother sewing clothes for her and her sister. So when I expressed an interest in sewing she was very excited. Before I even started creating she told me I had a great gift. Her intuition led to my degree in fashion design. After a few years of trying other career options I finally returned to sewing. I guess it really was my passion.

I named my venture 'Betty & Mabel'. Betty being my grandmother and Mabel after a close friends grandmother. The names just blended so well.

So you see we often know from childhood what we want to be therefore listen to your heart (and your grandmother) and make your dream come true!
