Big & Mighty is the design studio of Katy Kennedy, offering a variety of fresh and feel-good design services and items. Specializing in carefully considered small-scale print work—including invitations, note cards, notebooks, tee shirts and more—Big & Mighty is now working with hand-printed work as well.

Designer Katy Kennedy started Big & Mighty once her youngest twins were finally out of diapers. When encouraging her kids to try something new, she would often say, “Give it a try; be big and mighty.” She followed her own advice and officially opened her design studio in 2010, right in her backyard.

Kennedy received her MFA from School of Visual Arts in New York and spent nearly ten years gaining experience in the worlds of visual arts, corporate design, book publishing, and interactive design in both New York and San Francisco. She’s now lo...
