His wandering 20 year span would have him living on a sailboat for years in the Florida Keys. He also has been involved with the Renaissance Festival circuit where he has sold his work for more than 20 years. The year 2000 found him renovating and living in an old cabin in Tennessee which still serves as a retreat and part time studio.
