About

My name is Yvonne and I’m from Texas. Since the bluebonnet is the Texas state flower, I couldn't resist putting it in my business logo. You know the sayings:

Don’t Mess with Texas
Everything’s Bigger in Texas
We’re a Whole Other Country

That’s where I live and love it here. Texas is not for everyone, but for me and my husband of 30 yrs., it’s Home.

I’ve always kept busy with my hands. I started dyeing reed to exact colors so that I could weave intricate baskets into different shapes and sizes. My name is Yvonne and I’m from Texas. Since the bluebonnet is the Texas state flower, I couldn't resist putting it in my business logo. You know the sayings:

Don’t Mess with Texas
Everything’s Bigger in Texas

That’s where I live and love it here. Texas is not for everyone, but for me and my husband of 30 yrs., it’s Home.

I’ve always kept busy with my hands. I started dyeing reed to exact colors so that I could weave intricate baskets into different shapes and sizes. I attended a basket convention and saw a purse made out of basket reed and the flap was done in peyote stitch. I just had to learn how to make this, but my problem was I didn’t know how to do peyote stitch or any type of beadwork. So I read some books and bought a video and was on my way learning that one stitch that would make my purse complete. The rest is history. Did I ever finish that purse with the basket reed and peyote flap? No, I still have it and it goes untouched.

I’ve taken classes with well-known bead artists to help me advance toward making quality jewelry. I’ve tried to learn as many beading stitches as possible so that I could bring beauty and uniqueness to each bracelet, necklace or earrings I make. You can be assured that each stitch and each bead is individually sewn into my work.

I incorporate the finest Swarovski crystals, pearls and rivolis into my work as well as delicas, seed beads, freshwater pearls, cabochons, charms and gemstones. I seek out lampwork beads along with unusual beads or shells to incorporate them into my jewelry so each piece is unique. Sterling silver, copper, and lead-free pewter findings and wire are used in my pieces. A gift box or organza gift pouch is included with each purchase. Custom orders are welcome.

My goal is to bring you jewelry that will last a lifetime and put a smile on your face.

Jewelry sophisticated enough for a night on the town
Casual enough to wear with a T-shirt and jeans
