About

For as long as I can remember, I've loved bookbinding and printmaking. I remember always asking people what they thought I should be doing, since I hadn't seemed to figure it out. My dad told me I should make books...and I should have listened to him nearly 14 years ago when he said it.

I've been binding books since 1994, but after years of on-and-off hobby binding, I finally figured out that Dad was exactly right. In 2006, I started to make books like crazy to fight the monotony and unnatural stress that built up during my office day job. I always hope that the things I make will stay with people for generations, and that they and maybe their grandchildren will be just as proud of their taste in 50 years as they are now.

I love the work I do and can't believe I get to do it for a living. Thanks for supporting the work of independent artists and craftspeople - believe me, we all appreciate it!
