A year or two ago when asked what I believed a "Crocheter" may have looked like; I would have pictured an elderly women, sitting on her front porch rocking chair, working on a dolley.... That was then. While I have always considered myself a crafty person, I now I'm proud to say "I LOVE TO CROCHET!"
I picked up the hooks the first time when I was a child and my sister taught me the chain and single crochet stitch. Many years later my husband found Camo Red Heart Yarn and asked for an afghan. Months later he had his afghan (all done is single crochet, and a little more of a off centered, hexogon, triangled kind of rectangle :) But, even with the odd shape he loved it and we still use it today, years later.
