***LIVING TO WORK***

Life for me began with a rich colorful culture in Nogales, Arizona on the Arizona Mexico border. Alive with laughter, Mariachi music, picnics at the river, Cinco de Mayo parades along the border and trips to the hills to catch a ride on a wild burro.

My Mother is an artist and the family is speckled with talented artists. Even as a child the pencils and crayons seldom left my hands as I tried to capture it all on paper.

My work has been displayed and sold at The Tucson Museum of Art Shop and the Scottsdale Center of the Arts. Galleries, shops and art shows in the Orient, Germany and all over America.

After attending The University of The Philippines majoring in Fine Arts/Art History I traveled lived and enjoyed different cultures and Art. While in Thailand I first learned silk painting from local artists that created incredible works and washed them right in the canals. It remains my favorite medium even though the dyes are very unforgiving.

In Egypt the Nubian people use colorful fruits and seeds to create their magical art work. It's fascinating to see artists creating such vibrant art with so little. Now I see possibilities in every thing and mix mediums at will to create what seems like an endless list of ideas waiting for creation.

Living happily in Tucson Arizona surrounded by my studio supervisor’s; three dogs and three cats who often contribute to my art with paw prints. All is nearly perfect!

After many years of working to live; like most artists who dream of surviving on their art.

I am, for as long as I'm able to feed us all.
