I have always been fascinated with paper. As a little girl I never wanted to use up the stash of stationery, origami, handmade, card stock, tissue, or even spiral notebook paper that I had acquired.
But once I let go I found a whole new world. Ahh, paper snowflakes, origami frogs, handmade cards to loved ones, and making awesome paper from my leftovers.
I forgot about most of that while in my teens, and college, and starting a family. Luckily as a stay at home mom I drew from my youth and my forgotten love surfaced again keeping my children occupied.
They have moved on cultivating their passions, but I have continued to explore the world of making paper.
I try to use as much of discarded paper as possible. It hurts to see paper wasted in so many ways. As my shop will...
