ABBIE R POWERS is the founder and operator of camelhairandhoney.

Abbie grew up on a farm in rural Nebraska, chasing cattle, building forts and climbing trees. She holds a master's degree in sculpture. Most recently she spent time working on an alpaca ranch, learning every aspect of alpaca care: from birthing babies to shearing the fleece. Her passion for alpaca fiber stems from her love of these wonderful creatures, not to mention that it's sustainable, green, totally natural, hypo-allergenic and softer and warmer than wool.

camelhairandhoney aims to bring you quality, one-of-a-kind alpaca products and silk scarves and shawls that you can enjoy for years to come.
