I'm a struggling artist living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Raised with blue collar Midwest sensibilities, I never suspected that art could provide a living. Fortunately for me, I took my first drawing class my first year in college and was eventually recruited by their fledgling design program. A few production jobs later and I've finally landed a position that can combine illustration and design, both of which keep me happy. I can't say I've hit the big time, but I can at least say I enjoy my job.

Family has always come first for me. My wife brought me my biggest joy in life in the form of a son. Unfortunately with such joy came her diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, which unbeknownst to us, had been chipping away at her for years. While she remains the same person I fell in love with, it has severely altered her career path.

Which is why I've chosen to start selling prints. I've always used art to distract from the realities that life throws at me. But I can no longer spend my free time creating just to create. I hope that my inspiration can find an audience that will allow me to continue creating and exploring new ideas.
