My name is Maria and I live in Montevideo, a city that was a "melting pot" at the beginning of the 20th. Century. The immigrants arrived mainly from Spain and Italy but also from the rest of Europe. They brought their most loved possessions and those that were able to make a better living continued bringing goods from Europe. As a result, we now have many beautiful vintage items.

I worked most of my life as a librarian. Having a shop is a completely new experience for me and I am enjoying it. What began as something new and different to do has evolved practically to a full time job.

I like to wander around the city and I always find interesting vintage pieces. I sell vintage and antique maps, natural history lithographs, antique engravings, illustrations for children and more. I only buy things that I like and that is what you will find at my shop: a collection of objects that I cherish.
