Welcome to my shop! I have been selling on Etsy for over 15 years. My father was a very skilled woodturner and was disillusioned selling at craft fairs so I decided to open an online shop to sell his beautiful crafts that he made from pieces of wood.

Most of the items I sell are pieces of oak and copper taken from HMS Victory. My father acquired the oak some years ago and made many stunning pieces from the oak, including lamps and coasters. Sadly my father has passed away but we are continuing to find pieces of the oak and copper in his workshop so together with a friend of my fathers, and my mother, we are able to continue selling.

I love walking in woods and forests capturing photographs of trees. My favorite English wood is burr elm. This wood is becoming increasingly difficult to come by in Scotland and England due to disease. I have sold many items in the past from burr elm so one day these could indeed become collectable!

None of the items I sell are made from wood which is deliberately cut down for the purpose of woodturning. For example I sell items made from trees that have been felled or from storm damage, or even my favorite find... driftwood.

Most of the wood items I sell are finished with Danish Oil which is a natural, non toxic oil.

Wood should not be immersed in water. To clean it should be wiped with a damp cloth.

To preserve the wood it should be waxed periodically.

Card payment or Paypal is prefered method of payment. Please submit payment immediately upon completing checkout.

If paying by Paypal, please ensure your Etsy address matches your Paypal shipping address. Orders will be delayed if they don't - I'll have to confirm the correct address before shipping.

Orders ship within 1-2 business days of cleared payment received. Within the UK orders are shipped First class mail.International orders are shipped First class mail and usually take 7 business days to the USA. I will refund any excess shipping charges if I miscalculate the shipping costs.

If you require insurance please contact me for a quote and I will send you a revised invoice. If insurance is not taken I can not be held responsible for any item that is lost or damaged in the mail. Some individual items come with free insurance, however this insurance is void if several items are shipped in one parcel.



REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Refunds are only offered if there is an error on my part. If an item is faulty you must contact me within 3 days of receipt for an exchange.


Any item can be gift wrapped if required - please tell me in the 'message to seller'.
