I started making steampunk jewellery when my Dad gave me a pile of old clock parts and watches which had got caught in the 2004 South Asian Tsunami - He owns a shop in Southern Sri Lanka which was badly damaged by the Tsunami. There's so much joy in turning such a tragedy into beautiful pieces of history.

I love sunny days, silk sarees, mechanical all sorts, Victorian era, 1920s, 1930s and 1960s vintage.
