I remember roaming my local mall at 12 and being struck by the most beautiful necklace I had ever seen. It was red and gold and fit tightly around my neck. Unfortunately, my meager allowance couldn't cover the hefty $13.50 price tag. Instead of begging mom and dad for more money, I headed across the street to the craft store and made my own - and it was perfect.

Since that day, I have been playing and experimenting and creating. And I couldn't be happier.

When I'm not in my studio, I can be found with some of the most amazing kids in the world - I provide behavioral therapy to children with developmental delays. I may get a scratch here or a hair pull there, but nothing can detract from the spark in their eyes when they learn.
