Hello from Northern Ireland! I'm Carrie *waves*

I have found solace in photography as a way of expressing myself since my teens. It was around then that I developed permanant double vision. It can't be fixed (though we tried, putting my vision on the line!) so everything in my life has an element of the abstract. Here I want to share my view of the world. This weird thing with my vision makes me focus on the little details in life and I am always pushing myself to do what I shouldn't be able to - I'll really stubborn ;)

Also,suffering from chronic depression and acute anxiety since I was very young, art is a way to connect to the beauty in the world that I often forget exists through the black fog.

This is my journey, one in which there is a search for calm and peace; the meditative.

I think my work is for everybody; when you surround yourself with beauty and inspiration your mood is influcened - so I say choose quirky, choose something that has a story and really means something to the artist and to you.
