I LOVE to create...I NEED to create and to have some sort of creative outlet (or I think I would drive my husband and daughter crazy)!! I grew up in a home where the appreciation of the arts in it's many glorious forms (music, theatre, dance, sculpture, pottery, painting, & photography) was instilled in me at a very young age, so it's only natural that I have continued that passion of the arts to this very day!

I am inspired by many things...my 3 yr old daughter, family, friends, music, poetry, my dreams, fashion, photography and the places that I've traveled to...as a makeup artist, what intrigues me in particular are faces, moods, expressions and colours. Vintage images and timeless icons such as Audrey Hepburn and various images from my vast collection of rare, foreign fashion magazines, along with ephemera of collected old documents, are often combined in my work. The end result is a creation which tells a story, a beautiful dichotomy of old and new. I always leave my special mark with a bit of whimsy, style, and a touch of sparkle (as a "girly girl", adornments like Swarovski crystals, metallic/opalescent paints and gold leafing, are common elements in my pieces)! In fact, I like to call my canvas pieces "jewelry for your walls"!! They are sure to add a touch of elegance and sparkle into your home! And my new collage bangles...well, I simply consider them "art for your wrists"!!
