I've been a fiberarts diva most of my life, starting when my paternal grandmother taught me to embroider and my mother encouraged me to use her old Singer treadle sewing machine to make fabu outfits for my Barbie doll.
Since then I have explored handknitting and crochet, frame loom knitting, silk painting, quilting, spinning, dressmaking, felting, dyeing, and lately, weaving. *Ars longa, vita brevis.* [Art is long, life is short!]
I also enjoy papercrafting, photography, journaling, reading, afternoon tea, tarot and astrology, and collecting.
