ABOUT ME
My fascination with design began when I was a little girl. My first creative obsessions were drawing and old movies. As I grew up, I spent many hours combining these two passions, sketching portraits from old movie stills. This process helped me to develop my own unique style and aesthetic, it was also the start of my attempts at trying to channel a cinematic experience into something that I could touch. Over the years I have dabbled in both filmmaking and graphic design - but grew restless working in digital environments and desired a return to something more tactile.

ABOUT MY DESIGNS
I take pride in everything that I create, and treat each design like an individual piece of art. Working this way means that I rarely make exactly the same item twice. I strive to make things that are functional as well as beautiful. I work in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Most of my materials are cotton, but I do get much of my fabric at thrift stores - so some content is unknown. I sew all my designs with my grandmother's Singer sewing machine (circa 1949). I am inspired by funky fabrics and vintage buttons, and like to design handbags that are stylish and fun, as well as practical.

If you wish to pay via personal check, I will ship your item(s) once I have received the check and it has cleared. I ship my domestic packages Priority Mail or Parcel Post. If you would like me to ship using a different method, or would like to add services to the shipping - please contact me prior to your order. My international shipping cost is an estimate. I don't want to charge any more shipping than I have to, so please contact me prior to your purchase so that I can calculate your actual shipping.
