About

A treasure-hunter since I was as a young girl living in the countryside of New Jersey, ever curious about old things, the mystery and history of objects loved by others. A passion that stayed with me through the years, one I carried into my new life in a new city and country. In 2010, I moved from Brooklyn to Lyon, France, for love. Excited to learn about my adopted home, I began to seek out treasures in the local vide-greniers and flea markets, collecting stories from my new neighbors. In my shop you will discover some of my "coups de coeur", or favorites, each with their own rich past, ready to make a new life in your home.

When I'm not shopping for vintage, I make one-of-a-kind guestbooks and journals from old French books. Come stop by and take a look! www.etsy.com/shop/Spellbinderie
