About

The Nice Lady Story

Once upon a time, there was a Nice Lady (she could very well have been a princess..) She worked for a big insurance company where she spent long, hard days investigating bad injuries, settling nasty lawsuits and talking to ambulance-chasing attorneys.

Those attorneys yelled at her sometimes. They had temper tantrums and sometimes they were just plain mean. Still The Nice Lady was always polite and nice and smiled until her cheeks ached... just like her mother taught her. That's why people called her The Nice Lady.

Her bosses, a chauvinistic crew, were meaner than everyone else, smirking and frowning and piling work on her desk day after day after day..even while she was on vacation.

"Work! Work! Work!" they screamed, day in day out. (They would have made her clean up after the wicked stepmother and stepsisters, but it wasn't in her job description.)

Working for corporate fat cats and handling temperamental attorneys, The Nice Lady began to change from happy and joyful to cynical and sad.

"I'm too nice to work here ," she decided one day. "I want to be happy!" So the Nice Lady walked away from her job that very day to the one thing she knew would make her happy...no, not Prince Charming. She gave up on him long ago. It's handcrafted jewelry, of course.

Today The Nice Lady can be found at home working with all kinds of neat tools. She uses stones and beads and wire and metal to makes beautiful jewelry she hopes will help you show off your artsy side....and make you smile.

And The Nice Lady is living happily ever after.

The End
