Creativity is messy... and I am VERY creative!!

My name is Tera, but around here most people just call my "Messy". I am the Main Brain of this shop. I have been creating and selling jewelry for almost a decade now. I started my Etsy shop in February of 2010.

Most of my focus in on jewelry, however, don't be surprised to find other art forms on my site. I like to mix it up and dabble in other crafts from time to time. I'm a jill-of-all-trades sort of crafter.

I am a self-taught jewelry artist. I began making simple stretch bracelets for myself and gifts for my loved ones. However, it didn't take long before I advanced my talent and was selling my creations to friends, family and others that heard about my work. Now, with Etsy, I am able to expand to an even greater market. It is very exciting!!

I love to recycle/upcycle! The majority of my pieces are made with recycled materials - t-shirts, bottle caps, old buttons, typewriter parts, skeleton keys... I even made my craft table out of an old window that was once on my house. I love to find new uses for old stuff!

**Note: I do not buy new materials, repurpose them and say that they are "recycled"! Bottle caps are "actual" beer and pop caps that have been salvaged (not uncirculated caps from a craft supply). Keys are vintage and purchased from a local salvaged building supply store. T-shirts have been salvaged... some donated to me by people and some purchased from the local Goodwill. Bullets have been used and collected from a local firing range. I even try to salvage as many components and findings from old jewelry as possible. It is true recycling and I am proud to make trash into treasure!!**


Creativity runs through my genes. The women in my family all have amazing artistic talent and vision. Arts & crafts were instilled in me from a very young age - especially by my Mother who is an amazing painter.

I really try to reflect my creativity and pride in each piece that I make. My goal is that my customers feel as much passion about wearing or displaying my products as I do making in them.
