I'm Emily, a Textile-artist and student from Leicestershire. Welcome to my shop (:
I realised my passion for textile-art when I was 16, and in the sixth form. After a year of failing and receiving an E in textile-art, I picked myself up, started again, and managed to receive an A* in my A-level.
While studying the subject, I found many things that i had a real talent at making, and one of those is corsages. It all started when i was making a project based on Marie Antoinette, and started experimenting making flowers as a response to the floral patterns that were popular in the 1700s. They started off rather flat, but after a few developments, they took shape.
After showing some of my work to one of my friends, she commissioned me to make one for her. She was so amazed by my corsages that she suggested I set up an online shop.
