I’ve always made things. From wooden swords and treehouses as a kid to the metal, wood, ceramic, and textile work I’ve done since. For me, being a craftsman is largely about making the things I want and need.
I love the moment when a new idea becomes a material reality. Taking an idea and following it through, past all the hurdles of design and production to create something useful and beautiful.
If there’s something I want, I’m always more satisfied if I make it.
The name of my shop comes from both the inspiration I get from my sons, Ari and Leo, and the influence my Dad’s had on my life and career.
