I create hand-built porcelain vessels that are ornamental in nature, bearing form and texture that reference nature and the feminine. These layers entwine elements of beauty and repulsion. They are functional yet deny the user the comfort of utilitarian practicality, which places the use of the pieces in the realm of special occasions. Each piece is made by me, and is one-of-a-kind. It brings me such joy to share my passion with others, and to see people enjoy my work.

I am currently a Master of Fine Arts student in Pennsylvania, and I also love teaching art to children. My work is currently at the Society for Contemporary Craft in Pittsburgh, and will be exhibited at Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater in their gallery from June 16-November 5, 2012. Last year I was the Emerging Artist Scholarship winner for the Three River's Arts Festival in Pittsburgh, and will be participating again this year form June 8-10. I will teach a week-long workshop on Hand-building and Surface Decoration at Touchstone Center for Craft in Farmington, PA from August 13-17.
